Build your course's planning master prompt

Lesson 3 of 7 · Compliance & safe AI use

1 · Learn the move · Flipped interaction

A master prompt is the one paragraph that travels into every planning ask: who you are, what you teach, the lines you never cross. For a teacher the lines are three: no student goes in by name, the decision stays yours, and no level or score it was not given. Write it once, paste it everywhere, and every draft starts from the same floor.

Write me a master prompt for my planning work. Include who I am, what I teach, the output shape I usually want, and the three rules: no student goes in by name, every placement or grade or note home is [YOUR CALL: ...], and no level or score that I did not give you.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

You teach seventh-grade science at Larkspur Middle, five sections, department of six. Every week you re-explain the same things: the bell schedule, the unit you are in, that the tool must never name a child or decide a placement. Write the paragraph once.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
