Map a repeatable task into a workflow
Lesson 1 of 5 · Workflows & automation
1 · Learn the move · RTO. Role · Task · Output
Sunday planning is the same eight steps every week, and you do them in a different order every week. A workflow is the steps written down with what each one takes in and gives out, which is where the tool can help and the places only you can act. The map shows the two kinds of step apart: the ones a tool runs, and the ones that are a decision about a child, which stay yours.
Map my Sunday planning into a workflow: each step, its input, its output, and whether a tool runs it or I decide it. Mark every step that touches a student as mine. No student goes in by name anywhere in the map.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
Sunday night takes three hours and you could not say which hour does what. Map it: calendar, unit, the week's lessons, materials, the sub plan if needed, the notes home, the gradebook. Decide what a tool can touch.
Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
