Wrap the day: what went home, what is still yours
Lesson 4 of 5 · The teacher's week
1 · Learn the move · Recipe pattern
The end-of-day wrap is a recipe with four steps, and a model can run it from a paste that has no student in it. One: what went out today under my name (emails home, the handout, the sub plan), each with whether I read it after the tool did. Two: what came back from a tool that I have not checked yet, listed by the audit from uw2. Three: what decisions are still mine for tomorrow (the grade on the stack, the seat change, the call home), written as [YOUR CALL: …] lines so they cannot be mistaken for things the tool settled. Four: the one thing to do first in the morning. Keep it to a paste of your own notes, families lettered, students lettered. The wrap takes four minutes and it is the thing that stops a draft from going home as a decision.
Here are my notes from today, with every student and family taken out: [paste]. Run the wrap in four fixed steps: 1. WENT OUT under my name, each with whether I read it after the tool drafted it; 2. CAME BACK from a tool and is still UNCHECKED; 3. STILL MINE for tomorrow, each as a [YOUR CALL: …] line; 4. FIRST THING in the morning, one line. Do not settle any item in step 3. Do not add anything my notes do not contain.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
A seventh-grade science teacher at Larkspur Middle, 4:40 on a Thursday. Her notes: three emails home drafted with a tool and sent, one of them read twice because it was about a pattern; a lab worksheet drafted and not yet worked; a decision pending on whether Student B moves seats; the grade on the lab stack still open. The wrap puts the two unread emails in step 1 with 'not re-read' beside them, the worksheet in step 2, the seat and the grades in step 3 as her calls, and 'work the worksheet's answer key' in step 4.
Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
