One model, different jobs

Build-along · ~15 min at your own keyboard

Most of the agents people talk about are one model reading different instructions with different tools. A writing agent and a scheduling agent are two rows in a routing table. The role comes from what the model reads. So write the instructions for each job and let the map send each request to the right ones. A second agent earns its cost when you can name the exact job it takes off the first one's desk. Good reasons are many independent tasks at once, one job so big it buries the rest, or something that must be watched live. Each extra agent costs tokens, waiting and another handoff that can fail.

Paste the two jobs and the files opened for each. Then paste your agent list with a job sentence and a hand back file for each, and the agents you decided not to add.
